The
CASP Microslide Dipslide is a simple and easy way to detect total
aerobic bacteria and fungi in a sample. One side of the Microslide
is coated with nutrient agar and TTC for the detection of bacteria.
The other side is coated with Malt Agar to detect yeasts and moulds.
On the TTC side of the Dipslide, the majority of the bacteria appear
as red colonies.
Bacteria
isolation with the Microslide is as simple as inserting the slide
into the fluid sample, while holding the sampling paddle, and withdrawing
it. The Microslide's unique hinged design also allows for the detection
of contamination on surfaces.
Microslides
may be used wherever the potential bacterial growth exceeds 103
organisms/ml. This situation may arise in industrial waters,
industrial fluids, toiletries and household products, and environmental
hygiene.
Microslides
are supplied in packs of 10, complete with bilingual instructions,
comparator charts and labels.
