The
Bugstick fulfills a long standing requirement for a weighted biocide
to transport chemical into inaccessible places where bacteria may
proliferate. The Bugstick is manufactured as a solid, non-dusting
cylinder, containing 100g of Myacide AS Technical.
The
Bugstick is easily introduced in the following systems to control
bacteria:

The
Bugstick is totally water soluble, non-foaming, and compatible with
commonly used water treatment chemicals. Bronopol's effectiveness
against water borne bacteria, including slime formers and SRB's
is well

documented.
With Bronopol as the active ingredient, the Bugstick reduces slime
and corrosion. In Oil and Gas, Water Treatment and mechanized Metalworking
industries, the Bugstick is clearly the microbicide of choice.
Bugsticks
are among the most efficient and environmentally friendly bactericides
on the market. Although not a sensitizer, Myacide AS Technical is an irritant.
To ensure safe handling and no skin contact, each Bugstick is wrapped
in PVA film. The sticks are packaged in cartons of 50.
The
Bugstick is fully registered with the Environmental Protection Agency
in the United States and with the Pest Management Regulatory Agency
of Health Canada.

Solubility Test
- One 2K7®Bugstick was set in a 2000 mLPyrex (No. 1000) beaker filled with 2000 ml Calgary City tap water and agitated with a Phipps and Bird Model 300 6-Paddle Stirrer at 100 RPM at various temperatures
